The Brief

Many cigar brands talk about heritage. Mombacho could open the door and show it to you. Built around a historic factory in Granada, Nicaragua, the brand connected premium cigars with the people, architecture, culture, and landscape that made them possible. As the company expanded its partnerships, experiences, and retail presence, the challenge became creating consistency across every touchpoint without losing the sense of place that made Mombacho special.

The Approach

Our role centered on helping bring The Mombacho Experience to life. We supported experiential programs, partnership initiatives, sales and marketing materials, packaging, web, social, video, and print—creating a cohesive visual system that connected every touchpoint back to the factory, the craft, and the destination itself. Whether someone encountered Mombacho through a retail shelf, a collaboration, a digital campaign, or a visit to Granada, the goal was the same: make every interaction feel connected to the experience behind the brand.

From factory to feeling.

The work extended across the places where the Mombacho story had to be felt, not just seen: web, social, print, packaging, sales collateral, video, partnerships, and The Mombacho Experience itself. Every piece needed to point back to the same center — the factory in Granada, the craft behind the cigar, and the sense of place that made the brand memorable.

Mombacho wasn’t built around a product launch.
It was built around a place worth visiting.

The Outcome

Mombacho succeeded in building something few cigar brands ever achieve: a reason to visit. The cigar became the entry point to a larger story—one rooted in Granada, its people, its history, and the craft behind the product.

By aligning partnerships, experiential programs, packaging, content, and sales materials around that idea, the brand created a more cohesive and memorable experience for customers long before they arrived and long after they returned home.
